How often should I wash my house?
We recommend once per year. Yearly cleanings can help protect your home from damaging molds, algae, and other environmental contaminants. We offer a Yearly Wash Membership Program, which provides you a yearly appointment with membership price protection.
How much will it cost?
Every situation is different. The scope of the job, the amount of materials needed, and the time it will take to complete are all factors we consider when estimating cost. We offer easy online estimates as a convenient way for you to find out what your specific job will cost.
Do you give estimates without visiting the property?
We can, yes! Most often, we can provide an accurate estimate by utilizing online satellite tools. Sometimes, we may want to take a look in person for various reasons: if the property is not visible online, if you’d like to add a deck wash, or even if you would simply like us to stop out in person!
Are you cleaning solutions safe for the environment?
Yes. The cleaning agents we use are biodegradable and safe for the environment.
Will you need to use my water?
In most cases, we will not need to use your water. It is helpful to have a working water spigot when cleaning cement, but not necessary.
Will you clean my windows?
The outside of your windows will be washed and rinsed during a house wash along with the rest of the house. However, we do not dry the windows by hand or squeegee them off.
Can you clean out my gutters?
No. Our company does not provide this service. We do wash the exterior of the gutters during a house wash, but we do not remove the debris from inside.
What is the black streaking on my roof?
The black streaks we see on so many Northeast Ohio roofs is a form of algae called Gloeocapsa Magma. This algae feeds on the limestone filler in your shingles and will continue to grow and darken until removed. We can safely remove this algae with our soft wash technology. No high pressure is used and your shingles are restored to their natural beauty!
What is roof treatment?
A roof treatment is a soft wash process (NO HIGH PRESSURE) in which we apply a cleaning solution to eliminate algae, moss, and other environmental contaminants from your roof. This process is gentle on your shingles to avoid any damage.
Does the roof treatment also remove green moss growing on my roof?
Yes. However, the moss will take some time to detach from the shingles after our process is complete. The cleaning solution gets down into the roots of the moss. Once the roots die, the moss will naturally detach and fall off. We do not physically remove the green moss because it could potentially damage the shingles.
Do you seal concrete?
Yes. We wash the concrete first. Then, for an additional charge, we apply a cement sealer to protect the surface against seasonal weather fluctuations, chipping and cracking.
